Hybrid Club Meeting: September 17, 2026

Join us for our next hybrid club meeting on Thursday, September 17th at 6:30pm!

At our meeting this month, we will consider endorsements for 3 candidates who have already been endorsed by the San Diego County Democratic Party: Patrick Grillot for El Cajon City Council District 1, Aimee Cuellar-Martinez for Southwestern College Board Area 4, and Janette Gomez for Chula Vista Elementary School Board Seat 5.

Also, we will consider an action item on a Ranked Choice Voting proposal, as presented by The Justice Workshop.

Finally, we will hear a presentation from Public Power San Diego to bring a no-profit, publicly owned utility option to San Diego.

As summer season winds down, it's time to kick back into gear as the November 3rd election inches closer.

Announcing Our Pre-Pride Party!

It wouldn't be Pride season in San Diego without a party!

Join us for our club's annual Pre-Pride Party on Friday, July 10th at The Brass Rail in Hillcrest! Address is 3796 Fifth Avenue, San Diego 92103.

We'll have a VIP Reception starting at 5:00pm, while the main event kicks off at 6:00pm.

Also, we'll have some snacks and food available for attendees.

Our Pre-Pride Party usually serves as our main club event during July. We will not have a club meeting in July, so our next regularly scheduled club meeting is set for Thursday, August 20th at 6:30pm.

Hybrid Club Meeting: June 25, 2026

As we've been waiting for more Primary Election results to sort out, we have pushed our meeting back a week to account for anything we may need to reconsider at our next club meeting.

Join us on Thursday, June 25th at 6:30pm for our next hybrid club meeting at R Place in Hillcrest. You may also join virtually on Zoom as well.

We will consider post-primary endorsements on races that will now feature 1 Democratic candidiate on consent, including Eleni Kounalakis for State Treasurer, Tom Umberg for Board of Equalization District 4, and Tiffanie Tate for State Senate District 32. We will also reconsider endorsements for Grossmont Union High School District.
