Our endorsed candidate for State Senate and USMC JAG officer Joseph Rocha will swear-in our newly elected and re-elected executive board, and speak about his campaign to unseat a Trump Republican incumbent.
We will also consider an endorsement for Superior Court Judge Office 35, and Rick Bates from UNITE HERE Local 30 will present an informational item on Sports Betting Ballot Measures and Workers at Tribal Casinos.

Also, please save the date for our upcoming 2022 Freedom Awards scheduled for Sunday, April 24th at 11:00am.
It will be a virtual event this year, and as the pandemic wanes our goal is to return to a more full-scale, in-person event next year.
We do want to thank our Senate President pro Tem Toni Atkins, Assemblymember Chris Ward, and our allies at the San Diego County Building and Construction Trades Council for committing as sponsors thus far, and we hope to recognize more sponsors moving forward!
Our site to purchase virtual tickets will be live soon, but for now we are opening up nominations to recognize those club members and activists who have made a positive impact over the last year in a number of categories.

Virtual Club Meeting: September 19, 2024
Join us for our regularly scheduled virtual meeting this month on Thursday, September 19 at 6:30pm. This will be our absolute last-chance endorsement meeting -- and club meetings -- prior to the November 5th Presidential Election.
For endorsement considerations, we will vote on uncontested friendly incumbents Tony Kranz for Encinitas Mayor, Eric Ortega for Bonsall Unified Area E, and Oscar Caralampio for Fallbrook Union High School District Area 4.
We'll also consider endorsements for uncontested Democratic candidates running for Palomar College Area 4, Del Mar Union School Board (short-term seat), and a short-term seat on the Calexico City Council.

Special Virtual Meeting: August 29, 2024
Join us for a special endorsement meeting on Thursday, August 29 at 6:30pm. This will be our last endorsement meeting for races to consider that will be on the ballot this November!
This meeting will be a week after our 2024 Democratic National Convention, and we'll have some of our club members who were delegates recap the highlights of their time in Chicago.
