Hybrid Club Meeting: September 18, 2025

Join us for our hybrid club meeting this month on Thursday, September 18th at 6:30pm. We are confirmed for our in-person meetings at a new venue: R Place Bar & Eatery at 1027 University Ave. in Hillcrest!

We will welcome and hear from Jeremy Comeau, President of the National Federation of Stonewall Democrats who will update us on the organizing efforts happening with our national umbrella organization. Our club has long been a chartered member of the national network of Stonewall Democratic Clubs.

Also, we will hear from Will Rodriguez-Kennedy, our newly elected Chair of the San Diego County Democratic Party, on local organizing efforts for the upcoming November special election to pass Proposition 50.

There will also be a presentation confirmed by Michelle Krug, our club's Vice President of Political Action, for an update on how Trump’s attacks on federal employees is affecting them

Hybrid Club Meeting: May 21, 2026

Join us for our next hybrid club meeting in a couple weeks on Thursday, May 21st at 6:30pm at R Place in Hillcrest!

Although our club's voter guide is currently in the process of being mailed out, our executive board has decided to proceed with reconsidering a potential endorsement for Governor. We'll also consider an endorsement for Fallbrook Public Utility District 2.

We will also ask and invite our already endorsed candidates to join us and provide our members an opportunity on how we can help them get-out-the-vote and volunteer for the election.

Voter Guide: 2026 Statewide Primary Election

Ballots have been mailed out, and early voting starts today (Monday), May 4th!

Our voter guide is being mailed out to our club members and is a handy and trusted guide for our recommendations and endorsed candidates that will primarily (no pun intended) be on the ballot for the Statewide Primary Election on June 2nd, 2026.

We have a no-frills, printer-friendly version of our voter guide available as well for your convenience.

Virtual Club Meeting: April 16, 2026

Join us this week for our next club meeting. We'll be meeting virtually on Zoom on Thursday, April 16th at 6:30pm.

We will finalize our endorsements for the June 2026 Primary Election, including considering taking a position on Measure A for the City of San Diego (ballot language can be found here), and we'll finalize priority races for our voter guide.

We will also consider an endorsement for Chula Vista Elementary School Board. Seats 1, 3, and 5 are all up this November.

We'll have a special guest speaker join us as well.
